WinEdt 7.0 là phiên bản chính thức của WinEdt hiện nay. WinEdt 7 hỗ trợ Unicode (các phiên bản trước đó muốn biên dịch các file tex bằng tiếng Việt người ta thường dùng bảng mã TCVN). Tương tích với các hệ thống TeX mới nhất như MiKTeX 2.9 và TeX Live 2012. Đã kiểm nghiệm với Windows XP, Vista, 7, và 8 (32-bit và 64-bit).
WinEdt 7.0 is now the official version of the program. It is unicode-capable and integrates seamlessly with the latest accessories and TeX Systems (MiKTeX 2.9 and TeX Live 2012). It has been extensively tested under Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 (32-bit and 64-bit).
